Femininity is powerful. The word itself is enough to spark a dialogue or a disagreement. It has been commercialized, commodified, and celebrated, but only when it is also controlled and consumable.
Like all aspects of identity, femininity remains a complex construct. It rests at the intersection of our humanity, where characteristics such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, ability, sexual orientation and gender identity compose the collective consciousness of its essence.
By shining a light on the often-hidden and harmful forces that shape our perceptions of femininity, this initiative aims to transform oppression into empowerment.
Femininity 4 Sale explores the reclamation of feminine power in the face of societal norms, stereotypes, and expectations that contribute to gender-based violence.
